Author Biography

   Dianna Hutts Aston was born in Houston, Texas August 12, 1964 and graduated from the University of Houston. In addition to writing, she established an annual Teen Writer's Workshop for underprivileged Mexican teens and manages her non-profit foundation, The Oz Project.
   Some of her favorite things include the color purple, books, the beach, family and friends, hibernation, cookies, hot donuts, autumn flowers, old cemeteries, birds' nests and things that sparkle. She also volunteers at a lavender farm, flys hot air balloons, and rides motorcycles.
