Booklist - 03/15/2018 Jasper and his podmates are back for their third tour with Earth Force, and this time Addy is joining them. He’s excited to have his sister along, but Addy’s recent interest in Bounder Rights and secrets spreading among the junior cadets is putting everyone in danger. Shortly after arrival, the pod is sent to work on a planet of new allies, the snakelike Alkalinians. Not everything is as it seems as Jasper and his pod uncover dangerous truths about the Alks. Full of suspense, the third in the series ratchets up the adventure. But readers looking for answers won’t find many here—the ending is a cliff-hanger, leaving more questions for the next entry in the series. - Copyright 2018 Booklist.
