Booklist - 11/01/2021 An out-of-this-world twist on Goldilocks and the Three Bears pulls Goldilocks and Baby Bear from their porridge and transports them to outer space, where a scientist takes them on a tour of the solar system to try out different planets. As the group travels great distances to explore planets with no water, no air, extremely hot or cold temperatures, and pressures that would make a person pop, readers will learn interesting and incredible facts about the planets, the moon, the sun, and Pluto. After finding out why Earth is “just right” for life, the group returns to enjoy the incredible features Earth has to offer—the characteristics that allow life to thrive. Vibrant, colorful illustrations show planets up close, while corresponding text provides detailed information about each planet and the history of the solar system, and speech balloons give often-humorous voices to Goldilocks, Baby Bear, and the scientist. A fun trip through the solar system that will leave readers in awe of both the solar system and our own incredible Earth. - Copyright 2021 Booklist.
