Full Text Reviews:

School Library Journal - 04/01/2017 Gr 3–6—With consumer and commercial drone use on the rise, this timely set explores the current uses of this technology and postulates on its myriad possibilities in the future. Kids will be fascinated by the numerous ways individuals are using drones, be it to scan for weeds amid acres of farmland or to deliver humanitarian assistance, and the accompanying photographs and artistic renderings provide readers with a birds-eye view of the high-tech flying machines. Safety concerns are addressed as well as the ever-evolving rules that regulators are imposing on hobbyists and corporations alike. In-text vocabulary appears in bold font and is defined at the bottom of each corresponding page, allowing for little disruption to the reading process. VERDICT A solid choice that will satisfy readers' thirst for knowledge of this popular technology. - Copyright 2017 Publishers Weekly, Library Journal and/or School Library Journal used with permission.
