School Library Journal - 09/01/2015 K-Gr 2—These slim, spare texts make media literacy understandable and relevant—a tall order when it comes to addressing such a young audience. The author effectively conveys each lesson in simple but age-appropriate language, asking readers how they would feel if a friend passed a poem of theirs off as his own in Plagiarism and employing visual examples in Primary Sources. It's never too early to establish awareness of sources when doing research, and these offerings do the job nicely. - Copyright 2015 Publishers Weekly, Library Journal and/or School Library Journal used with permission.
