After hearing from a canary that there was trouble back home, Ember returns to find out that the ever-troublesome raccoons are taking over the neighborhood one trash can at a time. With the help of his fellow pets, Ember hatches a plan to stop the raccoons for good. This series is distinct for its pitch-perfect animal-tinged humor and frequent illustrations, making it a great pick for both regular and reluctant readers.
