Booklist - 02/01/2017 In this third entry in the Top-Secret Diary of Celie Valentine series, Celie and her family have moved an hour away from everyone so they can have an apartment with a room for Granny, and Celie has to start at a new school. The first person she meets is Mary Majors, who can’t seem to say out of trouble—or out of anyone’s business. Celie turns to her diary to work out what she should do, especially when Mary begins to manipulate and lie to her. Celie gets talked into a seriously bad situation, but the experience makes her resolve to stick to her principles.
