Booklist - 10/15/2019 Cosmo, a golden retriever, and his human brother, Max, are inseparable. Cosmo takes his role as a big brother very seriously and knows it’s his job to protect Max and love him doggedly. When things at home begin to grow tense between Mom and Dad, Max enters Cosmo in a dog dancing competition in the hopes of keeping the family together, and Cosmo decides to help as much as he can. Max believes that if his parents see how they all used to be and how much Max and Cosmo belong together that they won’t divorce and separate the two. Told from the point of view of Cosmo, this tender middle-grade tale about the love between a human and a dog will touch the heart of animal-lovers everywhere. Cosmo and Max are a special duo, and together they learn that no matter what may happen at home, there’s nothing like the love between special friends.
