School Library Journal - 10/01/2016 PreS-K—This tale of endearing young bears (Parenteau's sixth) features a winter sledding outing and emphasizes the importance of sharing and getting along. After much snowy fun, Yellow, Fuzzy, Calico, Floppy, and Big Brown Bear grow tired of taking turns on their single sled. Things get worse when they all try to squeeze on together. A creative way for everyone to join in at the same time is found, and the downhill amusement continues. The simple, rhyming text works beautifully with the engaging acrylic illustrations. VERDICT A wonderful title to share as a seasonal storytime read-aloud or for beginning readers to discover on their own.—Mary Jennings, Camano Island Library, WA - Copyright 2016 Publishers Weekly, Library Journal and/or School Library Journal used with permission.
