Booklist - 04/15/2022 While the alien-believers will be the most anxious to get their hands on this book from the True Book: Space Exploration series (4 titles), they’ll find more debunking than confirmation of alien theories here. Nevertheless, this provides plenty of information on common misidentified flying objects, the organizations that study UFOs (from governments to civilian groups to the SETI Institute), and the four categories of UFO (clutter, natural phenomena, friendly devices, and enemy technology). True Books series are always engaging, and this book contains the standard features that make them so, like an illustrated time line, “The Big Truth” spread (this one on scientists searching for extraterrestrial life), and a concluding page of stats.
