Star Wars fans will recognize Baby Yoda and other familiar characters, including the Mandalorian, as well as meet some new characters and concepts in this high-interest text. Beginning readers will be drawn to this book, which has no more than two sentences per page in large, clear typeface. Second and third graders who benefit from low readability texts and have concept knowledge of Star Wars will return to this book time and time again. Back matter includes a glossary and a quiz; these features allow grown-ups to interact with and help readers with comprehension and sight word recall. VERDICT Baby Yoda fans unite!
