Full Text Reviews:

Booklist - 04/15/2000 Sweet Biscuit is back in another beginner's I Can Read Book. This time, a little girl is trying to teach the puppy to fetch a ball. Biscuit has no interest in learning--until the ball falls smack in the middle of a mud puddle: Stop, Biscuit! Don't fetch it now! Too late. The design is excellent for new readers. The text is minimal--no more than seven or eight simple words on a page--the typeface is large and generously spaced, and the colorful pictures grab attention without detracting from the words. New readers unfamiliar with Biscuit's previous adventures will probably want to read them as well. (Reviewed April 15, 2000) - Copyright 2000 Booklist.
