Not long after, a series of paintings go missing from her student Iggy Peck's family gallery. Determined to solve both the mystery of the shrieking and the paintings, Lila Greer gets to work investigating and researching all around town, with a little help from the Questioneers. Like other stories in this series, this installment stands out for its thoughtful, well-rounded approach to problems. Lila Greer's anxiety-battling tactics, sprinkled throughout the text, add a welcome SEL-angle.
