School Library Journal - 12/01/2014 Gr 1–2—Fly Guy continues to entertain with his ever-growing repertoire of skills and tricks. Here, he learns to do the backstroke in a birdbath, zoom in rapid circles around people's heads called "The Dizzy Doozie," and hang upside down from people's nostrils in a feat called "The Big Booger." When Fly Guy and his friend Buzz take the tricks to the dinner table, chaos ensues, but it's all good practice for when Buzz is confronted by a bully. Little does Buzz's tormentor know that Fly Guy has learned to use these tricks on hearing the word "Now." When the menacing kid demands a response from Buzz "NOW!," Fly Guy goes into action, resulting in a very funny and satisfying comeuppance. Arnold's distinctive and expressive black-dotted, ball-eyed characters and occasional plays on words will keep young readers smiling and rooting for this duo.—Maggie Chase, Boise State University, ID - Copyright 2014 Publishers Weekly, Library Journal and/or School Library Journal used with permission.
